About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to join our team in Laos. This role is open to Lao nationals only, and proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is required. The ideal candidate will support HR operations, assist with recruitment and onboarding, and ensure compliance with local labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with end-to-end recruitment processes: posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, etc.

•Support onboarding and offboarding processes.

•Prepare and maintain HR documents, records, and reports (contracts, attendance, leave records, etc.).

•Act as a bridge between Chinese management and local employees, supporting communication and translation when needed.

•Ensure compliance with Lao labor laws and regulations.

•Organize employee engagement activities and internal communications.

•Assist with payroll data collection and coordination with the finance team.

•Address employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

•Lao nationality (mandatory).

•Proficient in Chinese (Mandarin) and Lao; English is a plus.

•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

•At least 1 year of experience in an HR or administrative role preferred.

•Good understanding of Lao labor laws and HR best practices.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•Strong organizational and time management skills.

•Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
