Our client is seeking a highly experienced Head of Regulatory, Compliance, and Data Privacy to join their team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the compliance department in ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing compliance programs, reviewing company policies, advising management on potential risks, and maintaining strong relationships with regulators. What You'll Do

As the Head of Compliance and Data Privacy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our client's company remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. You will develop comprehensive training programs for employees, maintain strong relationships with regulators, manage the Compliance Department efficiently and effectively. Your role will also involve overseeing tracking and follow-through of pending regulatory compliance/corrective actions. You will interpret new laws and regulations and their applicability to the company including risks. In addition, you will conduct Compliance Testing in coordination with Internal Audit Division. Your leadership skills will be put to use as you manage direct reports efficiently and effectively. You will ensure timely and accurate submission of the department’s deliverables. Lastly, you will document and continuously review existing workflow and procedures of the department.

What You Bring

As the ideal candidate for the Head of Compliance and Data Privacy position, you bring a wealth of experience in managing compliance within a corporate setting. You have a Bachelor’s degree preferably in business or management along with exposure or familiarity with basic regulatory requirements in the financing industry. Your experience in process documentation, manual preparation, and project management sets you apart. You have a proven track record of coordination and planning as well as people management. With at least 8 years of relevant work experience, you are ready to take on this leadership role. Your knowledge of Tax and Regulatory Updates including but not limited to SEC, BSP, AMLA and DPA (relevant to financing industry) is essential for this role. You possess strong decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• At least 8 years of relevant work experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
• Experience in process documentation, manual preparation, and project management.
• Exposure to and familiarity with basic regulatory requirements in the financing industry.
• Leadership training and expertise in regulatory updates, including but not limited to SEC, BSP, AMLA, and DPA.
• Strong coordination and planning experience, with preferred people management skills.
• Ability to interpret data, laws, and regulations, and conduct risk assessments.
• Excellent decision-making, integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Strong adaptability, teamwork, and ability to engage with all levels of the organization and regulatory bodies.
