DEAN, E.T. YUCHENGCO SCHOOL OF BUSINESS - MAKATI
- The Dean will be responsible for the development, organization, management, control and operation of the E.T. Yuchengco School of Business Management.
- The Dean will also be in charge of planning and implementation of various programs and projects and enforcement of approved academic and administrative policies, procedures, rules, and regulations involving the School, its faculty members, non-teaching staff and students.
Overview of Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Academic Leadership – Leads curriculum review, educational policies, and program development in coordination with top executives.
- Student Affairs – Oversees student admissions, enrollment, academic concerns, and discipline enforcement per the Student Handbook.
- Faculty Management – Handles recruitment, training, evaluation, and supervision of faculty members, including teaching assignments and professional development.
- Instructional Oversight – Ensures quality instruction, syllabi adherence, research promotion, and curriculum development.
- Administrative Responsibilities – Maintains records, policies, and operational procedures while supervising office staff and ensuring adherence to institutional guidelines.
- Budget & Resources Management – Prepares and oversees the department’s budget, resource allocation, and fund generation through research grants and industry linkages.
- Research & Development – Supports faculty research initiatives and implements academic advancements.
- University Representation – Attends conferences, seminars, and professional activities to represent the institution.
Qualifications
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
- Must also possess an MBA and a DBA
- General industry knowledge and academic proficiency
- Competent in strategic partnership development, curriculum innovation, real-world experiential learning, globalization of education (competence in internationalizing education standards and providing global opportunities), and leadership in educational transformation.
- Five (5) years experience in managerial capacity in an educational Institution and with at least 5 years experience in teaching.
