THE OPPORTUNITY

Our esteemed partner has been collaborating with Australian businesses since 1981, delivering expert finance and insurance solutions. With over four decades of experience across multiple industries, they specialize in providing businesses with tailored services to help them realize their goals and protect their legacy. As part of Australasia's largest general insurance broker network, they continue to lead the way in the industry.

The team is expanding and seeking two Asset Finance Officers (2HC) to provide administrative support to the broking team while gaining insights into financier systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the collections inbox, responding to outstanding queries promptly.
  • Review arrears reports, identify discrepancies, and take necessary follow-up actions.
  • Liaise with lenders to obtain updates on overdue accounts and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection’s activities.
  • Prepare and send post-settlement client communications and settlement packs, ensuring all required documentation is complete.
  • Update client records post-settlement to reflect finalized transactions and adjustments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to financial transactions, including payment adjustments and direct debit changes.
  • Support internal and external teams and contribute to process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.


Skills, Experience & Qualification

  • Experience in banking, lending, finance administration, or collections management (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Background in working with offshore teams or in a global environment is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Strong data entry skills and ability to handle multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Enthusiastic about learning new technology and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
