• Handle materials and tools
• Fully competent to perform all positions on a minimum of two or more production lines in the facility
• Position will assist in the training and orienting of new employees
• Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to responsibilities
• Oversee day to day team needs
• Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements, MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings for tube
• Weld and repair door assemblies and sub-components using the GTAW – Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) and GMAW - Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) processes to meet customer and internal quality standards
• Assures parts comply to drawing specifications
• Clean weld splatter and metal finish parts as required
• Possess a good working knowledge of all welding procedures and applicable equipment

Licensing or Certifications

Education

• Diploma degree required
• Relevant degree such as High School and Associate Degree in Welding, Technical, General Education, Education, Associates, Military, Engineering, Graduate, Manufacturing, Science
