Review order sheets, pick lists, location and pallet ID to understand the specific tiles and quantities required.
Prepare for the picking process by ensuring proper documentation and equipment are ready.
Navigate through the warehouse aisles and storage locations to locate the required pallet ID/tiles.
Select tiles based on size, type, color, and other specifications outlined in the order.
Retrieve tiles from shelves, racks, or storage areas while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Verify that the selected tiles match the order requirements and are free from defects.
Count tiles accurately to ensure the correct quantity is being picked for each order.
Use appropriate tools, such as counting scales, to assist in accurate quantity verification.
Organize picked tiles for packing, ensuring they are properly arranged to prevent damage during transportation.
Apply labels or barcodes to packages to ensure accurate identification.
Inspect tiles for defects, chips, cracks, or other imperfections before packing them for shipment.
Remove any tiles that do not meet quality standards from the order.
Update order status and inventory records as tiles are picked and prepared for packing.
Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors or relevant team members.
Attends to other related concerns and performs other duties as may be assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical or vocational training is advantageous.
Prior experience in picking, warehousing, or a similar role within the tiles, ceramics, or construction materials industry is preferred.
Basic understanding of tile types, sizes, colors, and related product specifications.
Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items.
Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Adaptability to changing work demands and priorities.
