About the role
Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional looking to take the next step in your treasury career? Join our dynamic team at Business Trends Philippines' as a Treasury Assistant, based in our Paranaque City, Metro Manila office. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth management of our cash flows and financial operations.
What you'll be doing
? Tax & Withholding (CWT) TasksMerchant Portal Recording (CWT):
Posting CWT at month-end.
Posting of BIR 2307 in SAP:
Input and reconcile certificates from merchants.
2307 Compilation & SAWT Reconciliation:
Collect and compile 2307 forms for BIR SAWT reporting.
Creation of Official Receipts (OR):
Generate 14-series ORs in SAP from posted CWT.
Merchant Portal Input of 14-Series ORs:
Input OR details upon payment posting by TA#1, validate amounts paid.
CWT Renaming:
File renaming for consistency and system recordkeeping.
SAP Reversal of ORs (14-Series):
Reverse ORs in SAP when errors occur.
Vendor Check Releasing:
Coordinate and release checks to vendors.
Filing of Paid RCPs:
Maintain organized filing of settled RCPs.
USD Payment Transactions:
Process and document foreign currency (USD) disbursements.
Submission to ABSI:
Send paid RCPs to ABSI for official receipt (OR) scanning.
Bizlink Debit/Credit Memo Screenshot Report:
Generate and compile screenshot-based report for audit trail.
Report of Cancelled and Stale Checks:
Document and report on void or outdated checks.
BPI 360 Coordination:
Address issues with BPI via direct coordination.
BPI Bizlink – New User Maintenance:
Submit and process forms for new users.
BPI Documents for Processing:
Prepare and submit bank-related documentation for transactions or access.
What we're looking for
1-2 years' experience in a treasury or accounting role, preferably within an accounting or finance team
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and organised approach to your work
Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related field would be an advantage
