A Glimpse into Your New Role
As An Team Manager - Accounting, You Will Be
- Analyse and review trial balances and management reporting outputs to ensure accounts are standards/policy compliant, error-free and publication ready
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting team
- Provide guidance and direction to accounting team members to deliver an accurate and timely close
- Lead the implementation and monitoring of accounting controls and accounting standards, ensuring high compliance is achieved
- Oversee with the audit process for and provide audit workpapers as per audit schedule
- Oversee the delivery of all Tax & Compliance activities against agreed deadlines and in line with requirements
- Ensuring Adherence to Month end closing
- Anticipate and assess internal resource constraints and request/escalate to the Finance operations Manager for support as required
- Escalation and Issue resolution
- Ensure that PEAMs are served to all staff.
- Develop, drive and report on team KPIs
- Coordinate with all departments within the company to meet campaign needs.
- Facilitate performance reviews, development plans, and coaching sessions for all team members.
What You’ll Bring

D365 Experience Preferred
Process migration or transition experience
Excel Skills
General Accounting Experience
Performance management (including coaching)
Escalation handling (Issue resolution)
BPO/Shared service Experience
Process improvement
Experience working with Australian company financials is preferred but not essential
High degree of computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
