ASSIST Development Solutions (ADS), a strategic creative and communication services unit of ASSIST, is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead new business development and account management within ASEAN, with a primary focus on the development sector.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling creative services within an agency or similar environment, with at least 4 years of experience in account management, business development and communication.
This role requires a dynamic professional with a deep understanding of stakeholder engagement, creative service execution and familiarity with the development sector to drive impact-driven campaigns and communication initiatives.
Responsibilities:
A. Business Development & Growth:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with development agencies, NGOs, private sector partners, and government institutions.
- Identify outreach channels and products for new customer outreach
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand ADS' reach in the ASEAN region.
- Build strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance service offerings.
- Lead proposal development, pitch development and customer presentations.
B. Account & Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent relationship management and service delivery.
- Actively participate in the project, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring alignment with objectives and impact goals.
- Conduct regular client check-ins and performance reviews to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Nurture relationships with existing clients/partners and seek long-term partnership
C. Strategic Communication & Creative Services Focal:
- Work closely with potential clients to understand their creative and communication needs
- Participate in brainstorming and presentations with the client and cascade the creative and strategic ideas more effectively.
- Ensure alignment of creative outputs with development sector priorities, including sustainability, gender equality, public health, and governance.
- Stay ahead of trends in digital marketing, knowledge management and design to enhance ADS' service offerings.
D. Project & Financial Management:
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability.
- Track and report on business development metrics, revenue growth, and client satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in account management, business development in a creative agency.
- Familiarity of the development sector and sustainability communication
- Experience working with organizations like ADB, UN, World Bank, GIZ, or similar agencies is a PLUS
- Proven ability to manage large-scale clients / stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment and geographically dispersed teams.
