A Room Attendant, also known as a Housekeeper, is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms in a hotel, resort, or other lodging facility. The role ensures that rooms are comfortable, welcoming, and ready for guest use.
Clean guest rooms and bathrooms, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness.
Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries.
Dust, vacuum, and mop floors, and clean windows and mirrors.
Restock and organize amenities like toiletries, coffee supplies, and minibar items.
Report any maintenance issues or damage to management.
Ensure that all items in the room are in proper working condition.
Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or assistance.
Maintain the cleanliness of public areas such as hallways and lobbies as required.
Follow safety and sanitation protocols to prevent accidents and infections.
Keep track of room status (clean, dirty, inspected) and report any discrepancies to supervisors.

Experience:
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, but not always necessary.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
Ability to work efficiently and independently.
Good communication skills, particularly for guest interactions.
Physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a hospitality setting.
