- The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and quantity take-offs for construction projects.
- This includes analyzing project drawings, technical specifications, and scope of work to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
- The Estimator supports the project team during bidding, tendering, and budget preparation phases, ensuring cost efficiency and competitiveness.
- Proficient in cost control in the construction industry, has excellent business negotiation skills, and a cost-awareness throughout the project life-cycle
- This person will join our team and provide core support for cost optimization, business cooperation, and achieving profit goals in construction projects

Requirements and Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge in:
- Construction methods, labor, materials, and equipment costing
- Project budgeting and tender preparation
- Proficiency in:
- Cost estimating software (e.g., Planswift, CostOS, Bluebeam)
- Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
- Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred but not always required)
- Strong leadership, time management, and decision-making skills
- Ability to review and validate estimates and provide value engineering recommendations
- Can coordinate with project engineers, suppliers, and management on project cost planning
- Minimum 5 years of solid experience in estimation and quantity surveying
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy Rate of Estimates – % deviation between estimated cost and actual project cost
- Bid Submission Timeliness – % of estimates completed before the deadline
- Win Rate of Bids – % of successful bids awarded based on submitted estimates
- Estimate Turnaround Time – Time taken to complete an estimate from the scope release
- Compliance Rate – Adherence to procurement guidelines, documentation standards, and estimate procedures
