Duties and responsibilities:
Reports to the Projects and Improvements Manager
Implementation of the Maintenance Job Order Process:
- a) Verify requirement/objective
- b) Propose action plan to stakeholders
- c) Prepare detailed plan (5M)
- d) Prepare purchase request for required materials, equipment and consumables
- e) Release the work plan
- f) Schedule the work
- g) Coordinate with stakeholders for the execution of the work plan
- h) Supervise the execution of the work plan
- i) Completion/closing of the Maintenance Job Order
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the welders and fabricators of the Projects and Improvements Department
- Prepare weekly and daily work schedules ensuring efficient utilization of personnel, material and equipment resources
- Ensure work schedules are performed on time and in the standard and quality required
- Maintain the problem-free and efficient operation of the plant’s deep well pump and the plant well water supply system
- Submit weekly status reports and concerns
- Submit monthly accomplishment reports and action plans
- Support the activities of other departments as the need arises
- Obey and enforce company rules and regulations
- Other tasks may be handled from time to time
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably a Licensed Mechanical Engineer
- Ability to create documents, graphs, reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Use AutoCAD to make scaled 2D and 3D drawings
- Ability to lead a team of welders and fabricators
- Competency to perform root cause analysis and propose actionable solutions
- Must be physically fit and willing to work on the field: activity will involve climbing up and down 30 meters on stairs, daily walking of at least 2 kilometers daily.
