Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates.
Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and time requirements for projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to understand project scope and requirements.
Source and obtain competitive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
Develop and present detailed cost breakdowns for internal review and client proposals.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to better understand project conditions and constraints.
Identify and assess potential risks and incorporate appropriate contingencies into estimates.
Track and update cost data and maintain a historical database for future reference.
Assist in value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
Support the handover process from estimating to project execution teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of estimating techniques, construction methods, and project lifecycles.
Proficiency in estimating software
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
