Job Description

The premium operations analyst is responsible for interpreting, analyzing, and processing various activities in support of property and casualty insurance operations. The candidate will need to perform activities with a high degree of accuracy and consistently meet service level requirements. This position will be part of the Premium Operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Review submissions and record premium details accurately
  • Perform validations and review to confirm accuracy of data recorded
  • Prepare and issue documents and reports accurately, as per specifications
  • Efficiently complete medium complexity assignments
  • Create workpapers and support as needed
  • Prepare payment requests for commission and return premiums
  • Interact with team and customers as required to complete deliverables
  • Communicate issues or queries on a timely basis to ensure quick resolution
  • Assist with troubleshooting and improving processes, as needed
  • Perform special project as assigned

Qualifications

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency skill level II on Microsoft Excel and word
  • Proficiency skill level II on Microsoft office Suite

  • Strong verbal/written communication with fluency in the English language
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability
  • Detail and quality minded
  • Proactively engage within the team to raise awareness of issues and contribute to solutions
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with ability to execute within an international team
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible with changing requirements and ability to learn new processes quickly
  • Willingness and desire to learn new tools in pursuit of efficiency

Additional Information

Education:

B.S. Degree – Preferably in Finance or Accounting
