- Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with sales goals and company objectives.
- Analyze retail distribution data, market trends, and consumer behavior to make informed decisions.
- Monitor and forecast product demand to optimize inventory levels and prevent overstock or stockouts.
- Work with Marketing and Sales teams to plan promotions, product launches, and in-store displays.
- Create and manage pricing strategies that are competitive and aligned with profitability targets.
- Oversee product placement in stores and ensure visual merchandising standards are met.
- Monitor competitors’ activities and market changes to adjust merchandising plans proactively.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to manage product flow and availability.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory status, and merchandising effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in retail merchandising, planning, or buying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and retail inventory management systems.
- Must be equipped with a personal laptop/device for work.
- Can start ASAP.
- Comfortable working in a lean, startup environment with a hands-on approach.
- Practical, resourceful, and solution-oriented – no task is too small or too big.
