Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabling Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting a global banking client in Quezon City. This role plays a key part in ensuring reliable network connectivity and hardware performance across telecom, enterprise infrastructure, and end-user environments. The technician will install, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems, support hardware deployments, and coordinate asset management with local IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

Network & Telecom Cabling Support

● Install and maintain network/LAN cables for telecommunications systems and infrastructure.

● Conduct testing and troubleshooting of network performance and cabling faults.

● Ensure proper cable routing, labeling, and adherence to structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI)

● Replace or upgrade cabling components to support telecom infrastructure changes.

● Adhere to industry best practices for telecom and structured cabling systems.

Enterprise Services Cabling

● Support cabling for server rooms and data centers, ensuring organized and well-documented cable routing.

● Perform periodic inspections, proactive maintenance, and cabling assessments for enterprise network reliability.

● Assist network teams with connectivity setup for new equipment or room expansions.

Client Services & IT Hardware Support

● Install and manage cabling for desktop and laptop peripherals.

● Provide end-user support for hardware and connectivity issues. Build, configure, and deploy laptops and IT hardware to new and existing users. Set up docking stations, monitors, and peripheral devices as needed.

● Maintain accurate records of hardware and asset inventory.

Qualifications & Skills

● Minimum 2–3 years of experience in network cabling maintenance, preferably in a global banking or enterprise environment.

● Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems (TIA/EIA, BICSI).

● Familiarity with IT hardware including laptops, desktops, docking stations, and related peripherals.

● Ability to diagnose and resolve basic network and hardware connectivity issues.

● Experience using asset management and inventory tracking systems.

● Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.

● Ability to lift and transport equipment, work on ladders, and navigate tight spaces.
