POSITION: IT PROJECT MANAGER
CLIENT: HOLDING COMPANY (HEALTHCARE)
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee technology projects within a leading healthcare organization. The role is expected to successfully deliver technology projects that meet business objectives -- completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while ensuring high-quality standards. This involves effectively managing resources, mitigating risks, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to ensure that projects drive organizational success and create value for the business.
Responsibilities
- Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and budget, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, assigning roles, providing direction, and fostering effective communication.
- Identify and manage project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Allocate and manage project resources efficiently, ensuring optimal use of personnel, equipment, and software/hardware.
- Oversee project execution, track performance using KPIs, resolve issues, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including senior management and external parties, managing expectations and presenting project status updates.
Qualifications
- Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to manage medium to large-scale IT projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Certifications: PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or other relevant certifications that demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT systems, including ERP, cybersecurity, mobile/web applications, cloud technologies, SaaS, AI/ML applications, and infrastructure modernization.
- Healthcare Industry Knowledge (Optional): Experience managing IT projects in the healthcare sector, such as hospital information systems, electronic health records (EHR), and pharmacy systems.
- Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, provide clear direction, and foster collaboration and effective communication among team members.
- Problem-Solving & Decision Making: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to resolve issues and make informed decisions that align with project goals.
- Project Management Methodologies: In-depth knowledge of methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, PMI, and SDLC, with the ability to apply them effectively based on project needs.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts.
- Familiarity with IT & Business Architecture: Knowledge of IT architecture, infrastructure, software development processes, and business processes to integrate technology solutions effectively.
- Proficiency in Project Management Tools: Expertise in project management software such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar tools to plan, track, and report on project progress.
