Company Description

Cebu Summa Water Lapu-Lapu, Inc. (CSWLL) was established in 2019 under a Joint Venture Agreement with the City of Lapu-Lapu to address the increasing demand for clean water. CSWLL is developing a Desalinated Water Supply and Distribution Project to supply up to 60 million liters per day of desalinated seawater using a large-scale Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) system. The initial phase of the project includes a 20 MLD desalination plant in Punta Engaño and a 500 CMD pilot facility in Olango Island. CSWLL aims to provide high-quality, sustainable water services, promoting economic growth, public health, and environmental stewardship.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Lapu-Lapu. The Hydraulic Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing hydraulic systems related to water infrastructure projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing water resource management data, overseeing the operation of mechanical and hydraulic equipment, conducting hydrological studies, and ensuring project compliance with technical standards. The Hydraulic Engineer will collaborate with different teams to optimize system performance and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Hydraulic Systems, Water Engineering, and Hydrology
• Solid understanding of Water Resource Management principles
• Proficient in Mechanical Engineering with focus on hydraulic equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with large-scale water projects is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
