Job Summary:

The Human Resources Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HR department for New Prime Gas of Iloilo City, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies, supporting talent acquisition, managing employee relations, and coordinating training and development initiatives. This role plays a key part in promoting a positive organizational culture, employee engagement, and consistent HR service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Staffing

  • Supervise the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Ensure hiring practices are fair, consistent, and aligned with company standards.
  • Partner with department heads for manpower planning and workforce forecasting.

2. Employee Relations and Compliance

  • Mediate workplace conflicts and support grievance resolution procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and government regulations.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for internal audits or legal inquiries.

3. Performance Management

  • Facilitate the performance appraisal process and ensure timely completion.
  • Coach supervisors and line managers on performance-related issues.

4. Compensation and Benefits

  • Assist in salary benchmarking, payroll coordination, and benefit administration.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition data.

5. Training and Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate internal or external learning opportunities.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate the effectiveness of development programs.

6. Policy Implementation

  • Update and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Recommend improvements to ensure a progressive and employee-centered environment.
Key Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR certifications (e.g., CHRP, PHR, SHRM-CP) are an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Background in handling multiple HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and labor compliance.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
