JOB SUMMARY:

The HR Staff for Labor Relations ensures compliance with labor laws and company policies while fostering a productive and respectful work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution and protects the Company against labor risks.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Employee Discipline and Labor Compliance

  • Ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations, including those in connection with employee discipline
  • Enforces internal policies, procedures, and guidelines, including but not limited to the Code of Discipline.
  • Conducts investigations and case assessments related to disciplinary issues and workplace incidents.
  • Prepares and issues various disciplinary documents such as Notice to Explain, Notice of Decision, Return to Work Notices, and Administrative Hearing Invitations, among others
  • Oversees and facilitates administrative hearings in coordination with Legal Department
  • Assists in handling employee relations matters, including investigations, documentation, and resolution of policy violations or workplace concerns.


Labor Education

  • Develops and facilitates Code of Discipline orientation for new hires, and refresher sessions for existing employees
  • Organizes and conducts training programs on labor laws, disciplinary procedures, and other labor-related topics


Labor Networking

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and other labor-related organizations.


Administrative Duties

  • Manages and ensures the regular monitoring of disciplinary and labor compliance cases
  • Coordinates with internal teams and external stakeholders on labor relations concerns, disciplinary actions, and compliance requirements
  • Provides logistical and administrative support during hearings, including note-taking and preparation of relevant materials.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related field
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Human Resources, particularly handling labor relations, is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships across departments and diverse teams
