Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare and lead the development of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for business performance.
Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with local accounting standards and company policies.
- Review journal entries, general ledger, and account reconciliations.
- Check AP voucher and CV transactions for payment.
Inventory and Cost Management
- Monitor and analyze cost of goods sold (COGS) and production expenses.
- Work closely with production and purchasing departments to track and control costs.
- Establish and maintain cost accounting systems suitable for food manufacturing.
- Implement inventory control and monitoring programs.
Treasury and Cash Flow Management
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital.
- Ensure timely settlement of accounts payable and proper collection of accounts receivable.
- Prepare cash flow projections and maintain liquidity position.
Taxation and Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with BIR and other local government regulations.
- Handle tax planning, filing of returns, and external audit coordination.
- Prepare reports and ensure submission to regulatory bodies such as BIR, SEC, LGUs, etc.
Internal Controls and Audit
- Design and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct periodic internal audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure proper documentation and control over financial transactions.
Leadership and Team Supervision
- Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team in its daily operations.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and motivate staff for advancement.
- Foster a culture of transparency, discipline, and ethical financial practices.
Strategic and Confidential Support
- Act as a financial advisor to senior management and contribute to business planning.
- Create and constantly review FA policies and procedures.
- Evaluate business opportunities and prepare financial models.
- Support funding, expansion, and capital investment projects.
- Assist in processing and uploading of confidential payroll and requests for payments.
- Manage the accrual of retirement benefits.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Finance is an advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting.
- At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Preferably with background in manufacturing or food processing industry.
