Liaises with Internal (Department Managers & All NWFP personnel) External (Suppliers, Contractor, Regional (A/P) Safety Officer, Corporate (US) Safety Officer & 3rd party auditors)
As Safety Officer - Handles other matters of environmental concerns, as required by the immediate superior
As Pollution Control Officer (DENR & LLDA):
Ensures compliance of the facility on all pollution control standards
Supervises the proper operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities of the facility
Attends to all requirements prior to the construction or installation of pollution control facilities including the application and securing of necessary permits and renewal thereof
Monitors activities pertaining to the installation or construction of pollution source and control facilities with the end in view of ensuring their compliance with the air, noise and water quality standard.
Prepares project timelines and cost estimates related to pollution control facility which include target date of completion / repair and operation
Promptly submits all validated / certified pollution control reports such as but not limited to Quarterly Self-monitoring and Semi-annual Compliance Monitoring Report
Acts as the Liaison Officer of the company with the city / provincial / municipal or local pollution control officer
Attends meetings for Pollution Control Officer, as needed, such as monthly meetings and annual General Assembly of CLEAN (Carmelray Locators Environment Association)
In-charge of overall compliance to total wastewater management and environmental standards and maintenance of equipment related to wastewater treatment.
Authorities - To stop, report any process or practice where the safety of personnel, products, property or equipment is at immediate risk.

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Sanitary Engineering or any related course
Accredited OSH Practitioner
With a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in EHS and Pollution Control
Has a working knowledge of workplace safety and existing government regulations
Knowledgeable in Pollution Control Management
Has the ability to maintain effective work relationships
With good oral and written communication skills
With excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
Proficient in driving (with valid driver's license)
