About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our development and operations teams to enhance our software delivery processes. You will work closely with senior engineers to automate and streamline our operations and processes, while also assisting in the deployment and monitoring of applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering on an "automation first" culture to enhance customer experience.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of applications.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Support the management of hybrid infrastructure and services.
  • Maintain and develop inhouse DevOps management services, sites and reporting.
  • Help maintain documentation for processes, systems, and configurations.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.
  • Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and best practices in DevOps.
  • Assist in the implementation of security best practices within the DevOps processes.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with hybrid platforms, on-premises and cloud (such as Azure)
  • Basic scripting skills in languages such as Powershell, Bash, or similar.
  • Experience in programming languages including C#, Javascript and SQL, and familiarity with both windows forms and web development techniques.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., TeamCity, Octopus, Github Actions) and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
