Acts as a liaison between Project Managers, Site Engineers, Sub-contractors and Clients of ongoing and upcoming construction projects of MCES, providing technical and administrative tasks and information to all parties involved in the project.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares estimates of material quantities for bidding of ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Generates the Minutes of the Meeting.
- Assists the Quantity Surveyor in project costing works.
- Ensures proper monitoring of all weekly meeting photos to be submitted by Sites Engineers for updating purposes of all project accomplishments.
- Attends to coordination meeting with clients.
- Initiates follow-up of all pending Request for Instructions (RFI) and Request for Approvals (RFA) from clients to ensure continuous work flow in the project site.
- Establishes correspondence with Clients and/or Third parties.
- Manages the chat groups for all Cebu and Mindanao projects.
- Assists all Site Engineers in their materials request.
- Generates the Request for Information and Request for Approvals for Cebu projects.
- Issues Notice To Proceed (NTP) to Sub-Contractors.
- Prepares the contracts with sub-contractors per specific project.
- Receives subcontractor billings of Cebu projects for forwarding to Accounting Department.
- Does all the sorting, filing and storing of both electronic and hard copy documents of all projects.
- Disseminates vital information and instructions of ongoing projects from the Clients to the Parties and/or Engineers concerned.
- Prepares the monthly billings of Cebu projects.
- Prepares the requirements for the temporary power and water connection application when needed.
- Coordinates with clients for clarifications and other matters concerning the project.
- Ensures the acquisition of Surety and Performance bonds for the projects when needed.
OTHERS:
- Accepts any other task as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor in accordance to the need of the department.
- Keeps immediate supervisor informed of work needs other than ordinary routine handling.
- Attends to training programs and learning sessions for the enhancement of professional and technical proficiencies.
- Actively participates and contributes to the development and accomplishment of department objectives.
- Upholds and promotes the good name of the company in all transactions with superiors, co-employees, clients, suppliers, and other external parties as necessary on matters of mutual concerns.
- Creates and preserves the most favorable image of the company by conducting all functions in the most ethical and fair manner consistent with the company’s mission, vision, goals and core corporate values.
