The Opportunity
Our partner is a leading Australian investment management firm specializing in alternative asset solutions, founded in 2006 and manages over AU$ 2.9 billion on behalf of its clients. With a strong track record in private equity, healthcare property, and real estate investments, our partner is committed to delivering innovative and high-performing investment opportunities.
The team is currently looking for a motivated and experienced Corporate Accountant to be based in Manila, Philippines with strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail. You should have a proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Office: BGC, Taguig.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6am to 3pm / 7am to 4pm.
- Set-up: Hybrid. Work onsite in BGC for 3 times weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly financial accounts and statutory financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards while liaising with auditors.
- Process accruals, prepayments, and journal entries, and conduct balance sheet and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Support corporate tax compliance by preparing tax calculations, forecasts, and returns, including BAS and other statutory filings.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, providing accurate forecasting and reporting to support financial stability and planning.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive financial efficiency and informed decision-making.
- Maintain and enhance financial controls, risk management and compliance processes while collaborating with auditors, tax advisors and financial institutions.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- CPA-qualified accountant with at least 5 years of experience in corporate accounting and fund accounting.
- Possess strong end-to-end accounting and financial reporting skills, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Have experience in corporate tax compliance and reporting.
- Proficient in financial software such as Yardi and skilled in advanced Excel functions for data analysis.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of risk management and compliance within a corporate environment.
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
