Driving company vehicles to transport goods and people, performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance, planning and optimizing routes, maintaining accurate delivery logs and paperwork, loading/unloading cargo, and adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Key qualifications are a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. 

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to transport products, materials, or personnel to designated locations. 
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. 
• Plan and adjust routes to optimize efficiency, avoid traffic, and ensure timely arrivals and pickups. 
• Perform routine vehicle inspections, check fuel levels, and report any maintenance needs or defects to management. 
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring it is handled properly and securely. 
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation. 
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and clients to provide updates and resolve issues. 
• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the company vehicle. 
• Assist with various company-related tasks as requested, such as deliveries, pickups, or errands. 

Qualifications 

• A valid driver's license for the type of vehicle being operated.
• A clean driving record with no traffic violations.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic laws.
• Excellent driving skills and the ability to handle various road and weather conditions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical stamina to handle and transport heavy items if required.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is often preferred.
