Sales: Execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Away From Home (AFH) market.
Promotions: Utilize knowledge of available promotions to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with customers about promotions and how they can benefit from them.
Order Processing: Accurately process orders and update customer information and notes as required. Ensure all customer data is maintained accurately in the system. Manage and process daily orders from National and Key Accounts received via email. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in order entry and confirmation.
Mass Allocations: Oversee the allocation of large quantities of orders to various accounts, ensuring customer and stakeholder demands are met.
Customer Sampling: Coordinate the distribution of product samples to customers, at the request of BDEs, DSMs, PACs etc, ensuring they receive the correct items in a timely manner.
Engage in confident and informed business discussions with customers and stakeholders. Ask insightful questions to uncover customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Objection Handling: Provide clear and persuasive responses to resolve concerns and close sales.
Resolve conflicts and issues promptly and professionally, utilising cross-functional skill and experience to offer First Call Resolution for multi-issue enquiries. Utilize problem-solving skills to find effective solutions for customers and the business.
Multi-Functional Support - Provide support across various call queues when required, including handling delivery and credit enquiries. Ensure timely and accurate responses to customer queries.
Assist customers with enquiries about out-of-stock items and suggest alternative options. Ensure customer needs are met even when preferred products are not unavailable.
Holiday Catch-Up Support and Out of Sequence Delivery Support: Provide additional support during holiday periods to manage increased demand; Coordinate out-of-sequence deliveries to meet customer requirements during peak periods.
Handle add-on and rush requests efficiently to meet customer expectations. Ensure quick turnaround times for urgent orders.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication. Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency. Implement best practices to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Proven experience inbound sales including meeting sales targets ideally within the FMCG sector
Excellent verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport & influence decision markets
Ability to negotiate effectively with customers, balancing business objectives and customer needs.
Proficient in using CRM software (Salesforce)
Willingness to learn, adapt to changing market conditions, and embrace new sales techniques.
Demonstrate resilience in handling objections & challenging situations
Maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy under pressure.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
