Manage and oversee all accounting policies and operations (revenue, expenditure, receivables and payables) of the company ensuring that the organization meets compliance and regulations related to taxes and other financial laws.
Monitor organizational spending and assist the management in creating sustainable and effective budgets. Ensures resources are properly allocated and aligned with the organization's overall financial health.
Ensures that the accountants maintain accurate and compliant financial records. Produce and submit regular reports to the management for updates and status.
Analyze financial information and reports to identify financial risks and opportunities. They look at trends and discrepancies and offer insights to help with the decision-making process.
Lead and assist the preparation of tax returns, ensuring timely submission and compliance with tax regulations.
Oversee and take charge on the general ledger activities, ensuring that transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections, helping to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any audit-related issues.
Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to the accounting team, including assigning tasks, reviewing work, and conducting performance evaluations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
With 7+ years of accounting experience, at least 3-5 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
