Position Title: ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Role Purpose:
Lead and manage the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective financial management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
- Manage the annual audit process and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., Philippine Financial Reporting Standards).
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into company performance and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and performance.
- Stay updated on accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices relevant to consumer goods companies in the Philippines.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards (PFRS) and tax regulations
- Experience in the consumer goods industry is a plus
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
