Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Office Accountant at Omara Construction, Inc. The Office Accountant will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial transactions, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies.
Qualifications
1. Financial Accounting and Reporting skills.
2. Experience in handling accounts payable and receivable.
3. Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus.
4. Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile bank transactions.
5. Preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
6. Proficiency in using accounting software (XERO).
7. Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations (SEC,BIR).
Plan, assign, and review staff's work.
8. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
9. Ability to work independently and in a team.
10.Support month-end and year-end close process.
11. Reviews HR payroll.
12. Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
