The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in training related to travel management and GDS platforms, with proficiency in at least two (2) GDS systems such as Worldspan, Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus, and Apollo. This role will involve developing and delivering end-to-end process training, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality training outcomes within the travel management industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive end-to-end process training for team members, focusing on GDS platforms and Travel Management Company (TMC) processes.
Develop training materials, documentation, and presentations for GDS systems (Worldspan, Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus, Apollo, etc.).
Ensure that training is aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs) and other deliverables for effective learning and development.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance throughput and optimize training processes.
Monitor, assess, and report on training effectiveness, adjusting as needed to meet team and company objectives.
Facilitate training sessions, including live training and e-learning modules, to improve team performance.
Proactively identify training needs based on performance metrics and deliver solutions accordingly.
Stay current with industry trends, GDS advancements, and travel management best practices to continuously improve training programs.
Utilize tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Articulate, Epiplex, Canva, and Visio to create dynamic and engaging training content and presentations.
Qualifications:
Must be amenable to work 100% onsite
Proficient in at least two (2) GDS platforms such as Worldspan, Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus, Apollo, or similar systems.
Strong familiarity with team travel processes, specifically Travel Management Company (TMC) operations.
In-depth understanding of training KPIs and deliverables.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver higher throughput and training effectiveness.
Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Articulate, Epiplex, Canva, and Visio is preferred.
Experience in designing and delivering end-to-end process training in a travel-related environment.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the travel and tourism industry, particularly in training for GDS platforms.
Expertise in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
Certification in instructional design or training delivery.
