Role:

We’re looking for a super talented web developer who is ready to test their skills and help us build the bank of the future. In this role you will be empowered to contribute to our technical direction and work closely with internal teams and external partners. We want you to bring your own ideas to the table and to have a critical voice in the direction of both the product and the company. You will be directly reporting to the Head of web development and work closely with our Head of engineering and Design Director and will act as both a web development and UI expert. Your valued input and ideas will positively impact the current and future operations of the company.

Responsibilities:

● Contribute to the development of our web portal

● Work collaboratively with our product and design teams to drive work to completion

● Build a highly responsive, web-based user interface that is geared to depict real-time data & insights

● Work with the backend developers to integrate with various web service APIs

● Work with internal and external delivery teams to ensure that the product meets the goals of the company and users

● Quality assurance testing, bug fixing and improving application performance

Requirements:

● Preferably, a bachelor or above degree in Computer Science or a related field

● 4+ years working in ReactJS and web development

● Strong working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3

● Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax

●Preferably, some experience with Typescript as well

● Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code

● Understanding of REST APIs in service integration

● Proficiency in web app security best practices - JWT (OAuth / OpenID)

● Experience with Figma, Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps and Git repos highly valued
