Responsible for overseeing the overall management of ISM's facilities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all aspects of facilities management. This includes supervision of technical operations, HK services, Helpdesk management, & maintenance of expatriate housing.
Proactively identify and implement continuous improvements in the facilities and services offered, ensuring they meet or exceed the standards expected by the school community.
Closely monitor and manage the budget, tracking expenditures and utilities consumption to maintain cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
Report directly to the Deputy Operations Director, providing regular and detailed updates on facility performance, issues, and improvements.
Ensure all property and facilities management functions align with the school's strategic goals.
Leads the team to wet performance standards, manage personnel decisions, and promote professional development through coaching and mentoring.
Engineering/Project Activities:
Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of school/building systems and equipment (AC, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
Develop and ensures implementation of preventive maintenance programs and schedule.
Ensures repair and maintenance activities, including renovations, projects are planned, implemented and completed on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to school activities.
Protect & enhance the value of facilities by implementing proactive maintenance & asset management strategies.
Spearheads proposal/bid preparations, recommendations, presentation, bid process up to awarding relating to various works and activities
Vendor Management:
Ensure high standards of service delivery across all facilities management areas, aligning vendor services with the school's operational needs.
Coordinates with vendors regarding review of contact, scope of work, deliverables, schedule of activities
Manage and coordinate relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring all contractual obligations are met, and service standards are consistently upheld.
Reportorial requirements:
Provide the Client with a comprehensive, regular daily and monthly written report covering all key areas of facility management, detailing performance, issues, and planned improvements.
Prepares documents and liaise with necessary regulatory bodies on the preparation, submission of compliance to all legal and statutory permits and licenses
Reports to and coordinates with POCs, stakeholders, gives status updates, incidents, etc. as it happens and as needed.
Performs and supports other related tasks.
Supports SKF Head office on the goal of account retention, expansion, ad hoc, spin off opportunities.
