Assists in the preparation of the annual IT Audit Plan targets, key result areas, budgets, cost reduction methods, personnel requirements and other activities of the Internal Audit Group.
Assists in the formulation and evaluation of internal audit policies, processes, measures and standards, and ensures adherence thereto.
Acts as Team Leader/Auditor-in-charge in the examination of the Information Technology Group.
Prepares audit reports.
Participates in the project development to strengthen internal control and ascertain regulatory compliance and data processing standards (IT Audit - internal projects).
Performs application review to ascertain organizational and operational effectiveness.
Assist IT Auditor in the development of recommendations for the improvement of the IT and business control environment
Perform initial review of IT audit reports of another IT audit specialist.
Assist on behalf of IAC in the conversion/migration of system applications and the interface between system applications.
Review drafts of qualification sheet/reports of other IT audit specialist as part of the IAC participation in SDLC/Computerization projects of the companies.
Performs such other duties that may be assigned by the IT Audit Group Head
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in BSIT, BSCS, BSIM, or equivalent or BS in Accountancy
Understands Project Management Frameworks / System Development Life Cycle Methodology
With knowledge in programming on Visual Basic, Web Development, SQL and Oracle Data Base Management System.
Computer literate, with excellent working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
Knowledge in using VA/PT tools is a plus
Highly proficient in both oral and written communication.
Always able to express his ideas clearly and concisely with ease and facility.
Proactive in approaching job responsibilities and ability to initiate change towards improvement.
Advocates and practices the paradigm shift to continuously improve work performance towards organizational development.
Initiates, suggests and executes process improvement and takes risks to achieve organizational improvements.
