We are looking for a Purchasing / New Product Development (NPD) Staff to support procurement activities and assist in launching new products for a company in the FMCG or non-food industry, based in Manila. This role is ideal for someone with strong sourcing, negotiation, and coordination skills, and a passion for improving product offerings and cost-efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers, materials, and components based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.
  • Prepare purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and ensure timely procurement of goods.
  • Assist in the product development process—from concept, material sourcing, to prototype and launch coordination.
  • Work closely with R&D, marketing, and production teams to align purchasing with product development timelines.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to avoid stockouts or overstock.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.


Requisito

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or product development, preferably in the FMCG or non-food sector.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or inventory systems is an advantage.
