Description
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and process purchase orders based on approved requisitions.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, prices, and terms.
- Monitor and follow up on order status to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
- Help ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying better purchase deals.
- Assist in inventory monitoring and stock level analysis.
- Prepare basic reports and documentation related to procurement activities.
Requirements
- Graduate of any four year course preferably Civil Engineering
- At least 1 year of experience in purchasing or procurement (construction industry experience is a plus).
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
