We are seeking a Senior Odoo Technical Lead who combines hands-on development expertise with the ability to guide and mentor a growing team. This role is perfect for an experienced Odoo professional who understands not just the code, but also the business processes behind manufacturing, logistics/warehouse management, and finance.

The ideal candidate is a problem-solver first, coder second — someone who can engage with business stakeholders, translate requirements into solutions, and then build or configure Odoo to deliver real value. You should also bring curiosity around AI/automation integration to help us enhance forecasting, analytics, and efficiency in the future.

Development & Customization

• Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules in Python, PostgreSQL, and XML.
• Build integrations with external systems (eCommerce, WMS, shipping, finance).
• Ensure best practices in coding standards, testing, and documentation.

Business Process Ownership

• Work closely with business teams across Manufacturing, Warehouse/Logistics, and Accounting/Finance.
• Translate workflows and requirements into ERP solutions (configure first, customize where needed).

Leadership & Team Building

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers (India-based).
• Set up code review practices, CI/CD pipelines, and efficient sprint delivery.
• Act as the first senior hire and lay the foundation for a high-performing ERP team.

AI & Automation

• Explore opportunities to integrate AI tools into Odoo (e.g., predictive demand planning, analytics dashboards, process automation).
• Evaluate third-party modules/APIs that can bring intelligence and automation to ERP workflows.

• 6+ years of experience in Odoo development (v12–v17).
• Proven track record of implementing ERP systems in inventory-driven businesses (manufacturing, distribution, consumer goods preferred).
• Strong knowledge of business domains: Manufacturing workflows, WMS, Finance/Accounting, Demand Planning.
• Hands-on expertise with Python, PostgreSQL, Odoo APIs, XML, JavaScript.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring a small dev team.
• Exposure to AI/automation tools and ability to integrate external APIs into ERP.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
