Description
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely.
- Balance cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking when needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Transaction Management: Handling cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately and efficiently.
- POS System Operation: Utilizing point-of-sale systems to process sales, discounts, and returns.
- Cash Handling: Counting money, making change, and balancing the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues or complaints with a positive attitude.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring the checkout area is organized and tidy.
- Inventory Management: This may involve basic inventory tasks, such as checking stock levels.
- Communication: Effectively communicating with customers and other staff members.
