RIOT was founded by Dr. Russell T. Warne and his team to address a major gap in intelligence testing: no rigorously developed, professionally administered IQ tests were available solely online. Recognizing this need, they studied gold-standard intelligence assessments like the WAIS-IV/V, CogAT 9, RIAS-2, and WISC-V, which psychologists and researchers have long relied upon. To create a scientifically valid yet widely accessible alternative, Dr. Warne and his team set out to develop the most comprehensive online intelligence testing platform. Their goal was to match the validity of traditional assessments while eliminating the cost, logistical hurdles, and outdated limitations that had historically restricted access to intelligence testing.
