With the economic downturn and industry 4.0 making job markets more competitive, youth entering the labor market are at a great disadvantage competing with older, more experienced jobseekers. This makes access to higher education and upskilling as important as ever. The most affected today are youth from the bottom of the pyramid, aged 18-30 years old who need financing for education, but have little to no credit history to qualify for a big loan with banks and fintechs. InvestEd exists to solve this problem, with a vision to solve financial inclusion for 500 million youth in the developing world, starting with the Philippines.
InvestEd.ph is a platform providing education loans and resources to 30M Filipino GenZs. Globally awarded with $6M in funding to-date, it built the Philippines’ most accurate AI for Gen Zs. This led its student lending business to have the highest repayment rates in the region and the most preferred by students. InvestEd’s AI also paved the way for 3 other business models that enable employers and financial institutions to do white label education financing, talent recruitment, and Gen Z product placements.
