Various processes are in place that make HMI at the cutting edge of the PEME system. First, an appointment system regulates the flow of seafarers who will be taking their PEME. With just a few clicks on the computer, crewing managers can schedule their crew members and choose which package, tests, and specific date they want for them.
Second, the clinic has numerous accreditations from maritime authorities, consulates, embassies, and flag states, enabling our PEME certificate to be accepted in various countries. Aside from being ISO 2001:10920 accredited, a number of additional processes are in place to ensure a high level of quality, such as physician morbidity and mortality meetings as self-audits to check on decision making quality and monthly service review meetings.
Third, the filing and records system is digital and uses an online medical database system called Aesclepius, and this ensures accurate archiving, a speedy evaluation process, and patient confidentiality.
