September
We began our Philippine operations with two products: All Set (a single-pay insurance plan) and Set for Life (a regular-pay insurance plan with optional premium benefits).
2015
February
We launched our strategic bancassurance partnership with Security Bank Corporation.
We continue in this partnership and in 2020 went on to fulfill our five-year milestone 17 months ahead of schedule.

We launched our partnership with Intelligence and Aventus.

We opened our business hub in Angeles, Pampanga.
Launched FWD Online Shop, a direct-to-consumer platform offering accessible and affordable insurance plans consumers can buy within minutes.
2020
July
We launched our FWD flagship store in Lazada.
October
Launched the FWD Affiliates Program, a social media referral program that rewards everyone for helping bridge the protection gap in the Philippines.
We announced our partnership with The Medical City to enable more Filipinos to live their best life.
2021
January
We launched 3-in-1 Protection Bundle, a harmonized insurance package that combines three digital products into one.
February
We launched Babyproof, our first ever life insurance bundle designed to cater baby’s needs.
Introduced two new funds: FWD Global Good ESG Fund and FWD Diversity Fund, to strengthen our protection and investment offerings.
March
We introduced a new feature that allows our customers to buy insurance as gift for their loved ones.
Announced partnerships with Cebuana Lhuillier, country’s largest micro financial services provider, to strengthen financial inclusion and make insurance more affordable and accessible to Filipinos.

Launched WorkSpace+ app, a work management app that enables FWD Life Insurance employees to navigate through hybrid work arrangements.
March
Sealed partnership with Marsh Philippines, one of the leading insurance brokers in the country, to cover the financial future of more Filipinos.
April
Introduced FWD x SBC Platinum Mastercard, a rewards card issued exclusively to FWD customers, with tailor-fit perks to level up their protection.
Introduced FWD Vibrant, a complete critical illness protection plan that covers one’s health screening to recovery.
