Salary Range: 1040 - 2600 USD/month, depending on candidate location, experience, and level of autonomy.

Sagan represents a residential property management company with a client-focused team responsible for supporting property owners and coordinating the operational and financial needs of their rental properties.
Position Overview:
The Property Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for property owners, managing relationships while coordinating onboarding, property performance, financial reviews, approvals, and operational needs. This role requires strong judgment, communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to confidently manage challenging conversations while maintaining a high level of client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day relationships and communication with property owners.
- Guide new owners through the onboarding process.
- Review property performance, financial information, and relevant reports.
- Communicate recommendations and obtain owner approvals when needed.
- Coordinate with leasing, maintenance, finance, and other internal teams.
- Address owner concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
- Negotiate and push back appropriately when business or operational decisions require it.
- Deliver difficult or unfavorable information with confidence and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate property and client records across relevant systems.
- Monitor outstanding tasks, approvals, and follow-ups to ensure timely resolution.
- Support a consistent, high-quality owner experience across the property portfolio.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in property management, residential property management, property management coordination, or a closely related field.
- Strong spoken and written English, with near-native spoken communication preferred.
- Proven experience communicating directly with clients, property owners, or other external stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Comfortable reviewing financial information and property-related reports.
- Able to confidently communicate recommendations and push back when appropriate.
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Experience using property management or workflow software.
- Willingness to complete Predictive Index Behavioral and Cognitive assessments as part of the selection process.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with AppFolio.
- Experience with Podio and GSuite.
- Experience supporting U.S. residential properties or U.S.-based property owners.
- Previous experience working with properties or clients in Chicago/Illinois.
- Experience working with U.S. markets that experience cold northern or northeastern winters.
- Additional experience in leasing, maintenance coordination, finance, or residential operations.
- Experience managing a sizable or multi-property portfolio.
