Digital Marketing Specialist

About the Role

We run a portfolio of local lead-generation websites for home service businesses across the United States — auto glass, water damage restoration, roofing, foundation repair, and more, across dozens of cities. Each site needs a consistent footprint of business listings (Google Business Profile, Yelp, BBB, Angi, and a dozen other directories) to rank locally and build trust. We need a detail-oriented VA to own this work: building out new listings accurately, keeping existing ones in good standing, and following our documented process exactly — no improvisation, no shortcuts.

Responsibilities

- Build and submit business listings across Yelp, BBB, Angi, Thumbtack, Manta, Foursquare, Bing Places, and more, following a provided NAP (Name/Address/Phone) sheet exactly

- Set up Google Business Profiles for service-area businesses using content we provide

- QA new sites: verify phone forwarding, nameservers, mobile load, and search console enrollment

- Log every completed submission with a screenshot in a shared tracker

- Weekly written report: sites completed, issues hit, questions

You will NOT be building websites, handling billing, or doing SEO strategy — you're executing a documented process, not making judgment calls on it.

Job Requirements

- Strong, clear written and spoken English is a hard requirement — no exceptions

- Detail-oriented — one typo in a business name across 40+ listings creates a citation mismatch that hurts every one of them

- Experience with local business directories (Yelp for Business, Google Business Profile) is a plus, not required if you're a fast learner

- Reliable internet, available 10-20 hours/week to start, flexible schedule

- Pay: $4-6/hr depending on experience, paid monthly, 10 hrs/week to start and growing toward Fulltime as the business becomes more active

- Growth path: commission-based contractor outreach work available later for VAs who want more hours
