- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather accurate project information.
- Maintain and update cost databases with current market pricing.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative solutions.
- Participate in bid meetings and present estimates clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure accuracy of estimates.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
