Messenger/Maintenance will be responsible for handling a variety of essential tasks, including internal and external deliveries, maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility, and performing basic repairs and maintenance as needed.

Messenger Duties:

• Transport documents, equipment, supplies, and packages to and from the laboratory and other designated locations.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of medical records, specimens, and packages to hospitals, doctors' offices, and other clients.
• Handle deliveries to vendors and maintain delivery logs.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and organizing materials.

Maintenance Duties:

• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as light repairs, painting, and basic plumbing.
• Conduct regular inspections of the building’s physical condition, identifying and addressing any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in accordance with health and safety standards and company policies.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of facility common areas, including restrooms, hallways, and parking areas.
• Set up and maintain equipment, furniture, and office spaces to ensure a clean and functional environment.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance or repair work when necessary.

General Support:

• Assist staff and management with miscellaneous tasks, including moving supplies or organizing equipment.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and materials.
• Respond to urgent requests for maintenance or delivery tasks in a timely manner.
