Description

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of chefs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines in food handling.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
  • Support the team in various kitchen tasks as needed.
  • Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Minimum Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment preferred.
  • Skills and Competencies: Proficient in Mise-En-Place, customer-oriented, strong attention to detail, skilled in stewarding, and knowledgeable in kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Assist chefs with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure kitchen supplies are stocked.
  • Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment, requiring standing for long periods and handling hot equipment.
  • Qualities and Traits: Team player, reliable, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
