MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Checks documents received from claimant or intermediary and ensure their correctness.
• Evaluates each claim assigned and conduct investigation where necessary.
• Develops plans for investigation of claims and gather all necessary documents and information.
• Communicates with adjusters, claimants, the insured and other parties to determine liability and coverage.
• Maintains proper files for claims by collecting and organizing relevant documents and set up mew claims using the company system.
• Conducts ocular inspection of the vehicle of the assured.
• Prepares Inspection report and repair evaluation report.
• Attends to all inquiries pertaining to the account he is handling and provide information as necessary.
• Updated with insurance product knowledge as well as appraisal and investigation techniques and services.
• Canvasses spare parts needed in the repair of motor vehicles.
• Evaluates job estimates and determine if parts are for repair or replacement.
• Negotiates with accredited shops on the cost of repair of motor vehicles.
• Issues Letter of Authority upon approval of immediate superior.
• Performs other functions that may be assigned by immediate superior.

• Graduate of any 4-year Bachelor's degree
• Has at least 1 year background in Non-Life Insurance as Claims Evaluator
• Experience in a car/ motor dealership is preferred
• Good Analytical skills, communication and interpersonal skills
• MUST know how to drive a motorcycle & with license
